You might be wondering what was that thing behind the pat bing su! Well, it was also one of the dishes that we cooked yesterday! :) This is also a very VERY simple dish that we cooked and one of the dishes I wish you guys will try! :) It has that blend of sweet, spicy and salty taste which makes it really good! And being a Filipino, I can truthfully say that it is best eaten with rice! ^.^ Simple ingredients are also needed and it is also a Korean dish! :)
Here are the things you will need:
1 block bean curd, sliced
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Cornstarch
1/2 cup cooking oil
for the sauce:
4 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
½ Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Crushed Garlic
2 tsp Spring onion, chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds, roasted
Procedure:
1. Pat bean curd slices with combined plain flour and cornstarch mixture.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan and pan-fry bean curd slices on one side until golden brown, then flip them over to fry the other side. Arrange on a serving plate.
3. Combine ingredients for sauce and blend well. Pour sauce over hot bean curd pieces before serving.
*Now! Ain't that easy?! ^^,
Life is good this week and I praise God for that! :)
